Our Father’s Housewares was started in 2003 by Community Presbyterian with the mission to meet the needs of the poor in the beaches communities for furniture and housewares. Their primary goal is to ensure that no one in our community is sleeping on the floor. The organization picks up donations of housewares, stores them in a warehouse and delivers them to active duty military, veterans, social workers’ clients, and personal referrals. Our Father’s Housewares also partners with BEAM. To learn more about Our Father’s Housewares and how you can help or donate, please visit https://www.cpcab.org/our-fathers-housewares. The Beaches Watch annual Give-Back donation supports outstanding nonprofit organizations that help enrich the quality of life of beaches residents. “Beaches Watch was proud to present this Give-Back donation to Our Father’s Housewares to show our appreciation for all they are doing to enhance the quality of life for our beaches communities. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need in our community and we hope this donation will help Our Father’s Housewares continue the great work they are doing to help those in need in our beaches communities,” said Beaches Watch President Maria Mark.
