Beaches Watch is pleased to present the 2025 Fland Sharp Memorial Scholarship to Fletcher High School senior Olivia Dolan who plans to pursue a career in anesthesiology.

While attending Fletcher, Olivia has been actively involved in various leadership and service-oriented organizations, serving as the Treasurer and Vice President of the Student Government Association, Treasurer and Vice President of the Key Club, as well as captain of the Slow Pitch Softball team. Olivia was also a member of the Interact Club and participated in the Future Business Leaders of America. She’s a member of the National Honor Society and the Fletcher Medical Society and she founded and currently serves as President of the Women in STEM Club.

Olivia has also been honored with the Second Year Varsity Player Award and the Most Valuable Player Award. She also placed 4th in Hospitality and Event Management at the Future Business Leaders of America Conference, was recognized by the Big Future National First-Generation program, and inducted into the National Honor Society.

Olivia was recognized as the 2025 Fland Sharp Memorial Scholarship recipient at the April 2 Beaches Watch meeting. In attendance to congratulate Olivia on her scholarship were Duval Schools Superintendent Dr. Christopher Bernier, District 2 School Board Representative April Carney, Fletcher High School Principal Dean Ledford, and Beaches Watch President Maria Mark.

“We wish Olivia the best as she embarks on her next chapter, and we look forward to many more great things from her in the years ahead,” said Beaches Watch President Maria Mark.  “Accomplished students, such as Olivia, are a true testament to the value of our public school system.  It is our hope that each year, the Beaches Watch scholarship recipient will follow in Fland’s footsteps of community service and contribute in her or his own way to improving community,” said Beaches Watch President Maria Mark.
