March 2005 – Beaches Watch presented Pete Modica and Mario’s with the “Friend of the Beaches” award in appreciation for Mario’s support of Beaches Watch efforts to preserve the quality of life in our beach communities in 2004. Beaches Watch applauds local businesses such as Mario’s that get involved in our beach communities. Presenting the award to Pete was Beaches Watch President Sandy Golding. Pete’s wife Maria and family were also present for the award presentation.
