Topic: Learn About Our Naval Station Mayport Neighbors

Speaker: Captain Jason G. Canfield, Naval Station Mayport Commanding Officer

Mayport Commanding Officer Captain Jason G. Canfield will address Naval Station Mayport’s mission and how it impacts our beach communities. Expected topics include:  the role Naval Station Mayport plays in our national security, what the base has done and is doing to address sea level rise, and the economic impact the base has on our beach communities. Captain Canfield will share how we can continue to build and foster a symbiotic relationship with our area’s third largest employer.
