Neptune Beach Candidate Forum

The Neptune Beach candidate forum is open to the public and will give voters the opportunity to meet the candidates and learn about their platforms and positions on Neptune Beach issues before the November 6 general election.  Voters will also have an opportunity to talk individually to the candidates and get candidate literature.

“Beaches Watch promotes citizen education on local issues and participation in local government,” said Beaches Watch interim president Maria Mark. “The election of our city officials is one of the most important ways citizens can participate in their local government. Through this forum, voters can learn more about the candidates and make an informed decision when they vote.”

Candidates on the general election ballot for Neptune Beach City Council Seat 4 are Josh Messinger and Tom Patton. Candidates for Neptune Beach City Council Seat 5 are incumbent Fred Jones and Beau Maurer.  More information about the candidates can also be found at the Beaches Watch website: www.BeachesWatch.com.

The general election will be held on Tuesday November 6, 2018 and early voting will be held October 22 through November 4 at the Beaches Branch Library from 10am to 6pm.
